Sorry Hillel I do not understand. Where do I search?
In the settings in the desktop or mobile app
Hi Hillel
That’s a bit vague. I am also not receiving notifications as you have marked the topic solved which is a bit misleading for anyone searching the topic don’t you think?
I’ve looked everywhere in the “settings” area and cannot find the one page checkout.
It’s your software. Surely it would be easier to help by providing the path than being vague.
I have checked in
• Payment settings
• Account management
• Client portal
If any users see this and know where I can disable the one page checkout please let me know as clearly @hillel is too busy and I need to get invoices paid.
Have you tried the desktop/mobile app? It’s possible the setting isn’t available in the web app
Well to be fair unless you tell me where to look there’s no point is there?
I’ve checked the exact same settings in the exact same areas on both web and desktop app and can’t find “One Page Checkout” so I need to know where this is.
I have been asking for 2 days now.
Have you tried my suggestion?
I did indeed.
The screenshot shows the web app, I’m asking if you tried in the desktop/mobile
Thanks. Finally found it here:
Settings // Payment Settings
So this option is available in the desktop app but not the web app is that correct?
That seems to be the case
That’s a bummer. Well thanks for your patience.
Something else I noticed…
When I pay an invoice using the client card it takes the payment (I confirmed this by checking with the payment processor) but the invoice is still sat as unpaid in the desktop UI when I look at invoices.
When I switched to the web UI and refreshed the page they were marked as paid.
Here’s the view from the desktop app:
And the web app refreshed:
Also…
I have one page checkout enabled on another business and the invoices send and get paid just fine. There has to be a reason for this.
The desktop app checks for new data every 5 minutes, you can force a refresh on Settings > Device Settings
I suggest upgrading to the latest version of the backend app
AHA! I found a small “Refresh” button down in the right corner. Yeah, that’s obvious.
I mean… why put a refresh button at the top where all other apps have it…? No, stick it at the bottom and make people search for it.
I’ll do that now. But why does it need PHP? It’s a desktop app.
Oh dear…
I tried updating the desktop app and got this:
And in the web app:
Not helpful error messages granted but hey, it’s what we have…
If you’d like me to continue to provide support you’re going to need to stop making snide remarks
The screenshot shows the backend app update
Hillel
They’re not snide remarks, just facts.
I provided a screenshot from the web app and also the desktop app no? Or did I send the same image in both?
From your most recent messages, this isn’t the best way to ask for help…
- “AHA! I found a small “Refresh” button down in the right corner. Yeah, that’s obvious.”
- “Not helpful error messages granted but hey, it’s what we have…”
The backend app can be updated from the frontend app
