Schema::table('users', function (Blueprint $table) {
So that is the line that needs to be quoted out right?
Like this?
You need to comment out three lines of code
I though you meant just the line that you highlighted in yellow in your screenshot?
Could you highlight in a screen shot which lines you have in mind, please?
Comment out lines 15, 16 and 17
Ok, thanks!
Done
Here is the result:
Yes, that looks correct
Thanks a bunch again for your kind help!
Hi Hillel.
I hope you are enjoying the summer.
I’m writing to you because I myself just discovered that the system is still after now long time since we reported this issue is not displaying updates in the new UI as per screen shots below. Only the Windows Desktop app which displays the old UI is displaying and notifying about updates.
This is of course problematic because at some point the older UI in the Windows Desktop app will be faced out / discontinued and then system administrators will not be able to receive the update notifications of the system.
So I hope you guys could look into this and maybe get this fixed please?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
The Windows desktop app will not be phased out.
If you believe there is a bug in the React web app feel free to create an issue here.
Right, but it might load the new UI instead (which as kind of my point).
Thanks for your reply Hillel,
Well should it not be considered a bug when the website interface do not give system admins update notifications?
I mean the only way you can see a update these days since you guys decided to change the website UI is through the desktop app.
Kind regards
The Windows desktop app UI will not change, it’s a totally separate app from the new web app.
Right, thanks!
But should not the new website UI also display and notify the system admins of new updates like the old UI?
Yes, of course it should
I’m also curious about this. I’m currently running InvoiceNinja “API” version 5.10.16, but 5.10.20 is available according to the releases Github page. I’m not seeing any update notification like I did in 5.8.x.
I’m also seeing “v Latest Build” in the Info window, as shown below, where as just a couple weeks ago, it showed “v14.04.2024.1”.
What happened here?
A couple weeks ago on 5.10.13:
5.10.16:
I’m most definitely not on the latest version, unless the “React” version number is still the same in v5.10.20, in which case maybe that particular text is correct if that’s only for the React version. But there should still be an update notification.
Was an update notification added between 5.10.16 and 5.10.20, or is this still in the works?
If you’re having trouble with app update notifications I suggest creating an issue on GitHub.
As far as you know, should update notifications be working in the React UI? Is that a current feature? Just trying to figure out if it’s an existing feature and it should be working but I’m experiencing a problem with it, or if it’s not an existing functionality of the React UI yet.
It is a current feature but it’s possible it isn’t working correctly.
Do you see the app update available in the desktop or mobile app?
