Is it possible - Date Range Custom Field

is there already, or can it be possible to, implement a date range for a custom field?

for example:

17/12/2022 to 21/12/2022.

I have looked at the following article

and, this question is a follow-up from my previous one here

we don’t drill down into :DAY the lowest resolution would be :WEEK
