Our work to support e-invoicing is being tracked on GitHub.
Time is now running out. In approx. 2 months, every company must at least be able to read e-invoices and the creation of e-invoices is also mandatory by January 1, 2028.
So far, I don’t know of any tool that only enables reading, but only complete solutions that already offer creation as well. I would like to avoid having to switch to a completely different system and would therefore like more information on when it will be possible to read and create e-invoices.
Are you using the latest version of the app? It should be supported, let us know if anything is missing.
Yes, I am using the current version: v5.10.43-L158
There should be an option on Settings > E-Invoices
It looks like you’re using the Snap version which is a bit behind, it may help to try with the Flatpak version or use the web app.

Sending an e-invoice seems to work without any problems except for 3 warnings, but the main problem is still reading incoming e-invoices.
From 01.01.2025, everyone must be able to process incoming e-invoices (from service providers, suppliers). There is no function for this in Invoice Ninja yet, or I haven’t found it yet.
Without the ability to process incoming e-invoices, I will have to look for another solution that will take care of everything, which would make Invoice Ninja superfluous.
Hence the question again:
Will there be a way to process incoming e-invoices with Invoice Ninja this year?
I urgently need this function for 1.1.25!
