What are the needed permissions to start a migration to v5?

Following the migration document, I’ve updated my self-hosted docker-compose based v4 installation to 4.5.35, and visited the settings in order to start the migration.

However, the UI is telling me that I don’t have the “needed permissions”:

The “Learn more” link simply goes to the migration document that I’m already following, and it doesn’t mention any permissions adjustments on the v4 side of the migration process. My docker logs also do not show any notices explaining further.

What exactly doesn’t have the correct permissions, and what are they needed to be set to?

Hi,

You need to be logged in as the account owner to run the migration.

Aha! That’s exactly right… silly me. I never use the account owner login, so didn’t notice. Thank you!
