Wepay fee calculated incorrectly (Hosted)

I had a $50.00 invoice processed with WePay. In the settings I have a 2.9% and $0.30 set up for the fees added to the transaction for credit cards:

The invoice amount was adjusted to: $51.75

Wepay then took this amount, and did the math backwards, and charged a $1.80 fee instead of the $1.75 that invoiceNinja added to the invoice total…

This turned my $50.00 invoice into a $49.95 deposit into my account, and I am out a nickel.

Can someone please tell me how to correct this behavior?

If I had a nickel for every time this is going to happen, I would come out even!

Hi,

We’ve added an optional setting in the next version but it won’t be available for a few months.

Until then you may want to increase the fee to account for the difference.

Thanks for the reply Hillel. Do you mean that you added a new feature, or just changed the way that it calculates how much to charge?

We’ve added a new setting to adjust the fee to match the gateway.

You can see it in the demo by adding a gateway, it’s on the Limits/Fees tab.
