variable data in invoices


Just started using Invoice Ninja and I would like to know if it is possible to invoice variable costs.
The customers I want to bill use support hours and these hours differ every month and they pay per hour. As I do not want to create invoices manually each month for all customers I was hoping there was an automated way available in Invoice Ninja.

You could use tasks to track the hours but you’d need to manually convert the tasks to invoices as the end of the month. If you’re a programmer you should be able to use the API to automate it.

The whole thing is that I do not want to do manual work and have it automated.

The API sounds like a solution. Where I can find more info on this?
