V5 Recurring Invoices Processing 8 Hours Early

Seems like there’s an issue with time zone triggering for recurring invoices and auto-bill payments. My Dec 1 invoices went out at about 4PM Pacific Time on November 30. I have my account set for Pacific Time zone, so I’m guessing the server isn’t processing that information.

It’s not a huge deal, but I’d like invoices to go out no early than right after midnight of the scheduled date and not earlier. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing?

Anyone else having this issue?

You can set the send time in Settings > Email Settings > Send time.

This will send emails based on your clients timezone. You may need to resave the invoice afterwards so that the datetimes are updated.

Thanks, @david … had seen that setting when initially getting oriented to v5 and forgot it was there. I’ll try setting it and see if it has any effect for next month’s invoicing.

This still seems to be out of sync, I feel like it is trying to send based on UTC time. It is 9:30pm 11/18/24 local time, I am trying to schedule an email for the following morning, and when I select 11/19/24 it saves it and says “Next run time: 11/19/2024 6 hours ago”. I have set the send time to 9:00am under Email Settings, and my Time Zone is set to Los Angeles.
