So we’re coming from an old self hosted version into the hosted environment. So far so good, everything is working - apart from the ability to import recurring invoices from a CSV.
Try what I may I cannot find the correct minimum field set that will work. I can get it to partially work, but not completely. And there is no template which I can download.
Has anyone managed to do this, and do you have any idea what the minimum fields required are?

Sorry, I don’t believe this is currently supported in the app.
If you’re a developer you can use the API, one possible may be to use a tool like Zapier or Make.
Thanks. Thats illogical though, since there’s an import button. Why have a button if the feature isn’t supported?

Importing recurring data is always a bit trickier than standard invoices. I’ve found that Invoice Ninja is super specific about the ‘Frequency’ and ‘Next Send Date’ columns during the import mapping. If those aren’t exactly right, the system tends to ignore them. Have you tried doing a small test import with just one or two rows to see if the headers are lining up correctly? It usually saves a lot of trial and error!
