Tasks not showing as Invoiced

Since I started using Invoice Ninja, the workflow that I’ve been using is to add a task to an invoice, and then to set the Item (which is a service taken from the Products list) on the invoice after the task is added. Until recently, the task would then show as Invoiced; however, it appears that specifying the Item will cause the Task to no longer show as Invoiced (although the hours incurred still appear on the invoice.) If I do not specify the Item, the Task will still show as invoiced.

Is this a recent change or a bug? How do I specify the Item on an Invoice when using Tasks and keep the Task marked as Invoiced?
