I am trying to login using the chrome extension for tasks, but nothing happens when I click the Log In button.

Can anyone assist with some advice. Where do I get the one time password, is this needed ?

Is the secret field a required field. ? Where do I get the info if it is.

What do you see when trying to login, can you paste a screenshot?

The API secret is optional, it can be configured in the .env file.

I believe "One Time Password’ is for 2FA, it’s only required if 2FA is enabled.

@david any ideas to debug this?

I can login to invoice ninja fine without 2FA and secret fine.

I searched the forums, and notice others having similar issues but with not solutions.

A bit of progress here.

If the my self hosted url is entered and you have a trailing / on it, login does not work. Remove the trailing / and it logs in.

It showed no tasks, even though I have 2 in my system. It does show the projects available when you go to filter, but still no tasks.

If I create a task it does load it onto invoice ninja, but does not link it to a project.

One other issue, if you round up a task time to say 1 minute, start a task and then stop it, but then start it again within the rounded up time, it will not allow you to stop it, due to there being an overlap in timings. This I think is more and invoice ninja issue, but does place the extension into a continuous loop. The only way to get around this was to go to invoice ninja and edit the timings.

Any help with these would be great, as I think it is a really worthwhile extension once working properly.
