Swiss qr is not shown

hi!
I installed invoiceninja on our own server to evaluate it. Very nice system!
However, one problem I have is about the swiss qr code by using $swiss_qr.
It simply does not show up. I read ca. 10 other posts about swiss qr code problems, but cant find the reason:

  • I add $swiss_qr in public notes
  • I have a QR IBAN. I tried with spaces and without spaces
  • I added “EXPANDED_LOGGING=true” to the .env file as @david suggested in another thread

However, it does not render and the log shows nothing.

You have any idea what else I could try?

Just one question, which I have seen now:
In the custom design I can see what variables are available. Should $swiss_qr not been listed?

The full list of variables is available in the docs, this is just more common ones.

I tested this now on your demo version: Here the QR Code is rendered.

then I enter exactly same settings on the self hosted v5.11.68:

  • Country Switzerland
  • Same IBAN
  • Using Standard Template Clean without any modification
  • adding to public notes

it does not work
