Stripe "Direct Debit" Invoice marked as payed


I’m sorry for any spam today, but I had some free time before the holidays start.

When using the Direct Debit function in Stripe, the invoice gets marked as paid immediately after Stripe displays the bank details to the customer. The customer also receives an email stating that the payment has been received. However, when looking into the Customer Portal, the payment is marked as pending and awaiting processing.


The app considers the invoice as paid immediately, if the payment fails to complete the payment is cancelled.
