Sending invoice with no client

I am using your self hosted version, and the API (as i connect to it from multiple sites)

I am working my site/s into a bank gateway (not one of your provided ones)
Question: Is it possible to create an invoice, without a client?
Reason: a client may pay us using a different card, with different name and address details (i.e. a different card), so the invoice should reflect this.
(i cannot seem to find a way of generating an invoice only)

Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi,

The app requires an invoice to be linked to a client, but a client can have more than one payment method on file.
