Hi
I would suggest a different search pattern. Match any word.
For example, if a company is called:
Ministry for self-defense in Europe.
searches that would match it:
ministy self
ministry defense
defense europe
The way it is now you have to match all words and space in exact order. It’s unnatural.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, we’ll look into it.
Thank you Hillel.
Basically match any matching characters and it can be inside any words.
For example
Ministry for self-defense in Europe.
nistr fens rope world match it.

The problem with that approach is it can match more records than expected (I believe it’s how v5 used to work). I think we can improve how spaces are handled though.
I’m only referring to a quick search for Clients and Products inside the quote/invoice. User still needs to click on selection while filtered.
But it’s not a big issue anyway. Maybe I was too fast with this post.
Thank you

We’ve implemented this change in the next release.
We’ve added an “Enable Flexible Search” option to Settings > Device Settings to toggle the behavior.
Thanks for suggesting it, I agree it’s a better experience.
It works great! Just tried it!
Thank you for such a great work and always prompt response.

Happy to hear it, thanks for the suggestion!
Hi Hillel
In practice this does not work as I thought. I had to turn it off. Too many matches. There seems to be misunderstanding. You did it in a way that it matched any character. It should just match all consecutive characters for example:
company: test example
est = true
xamp = true
es ex = true
tstxmpl = false
