I am trying to reinstall Invoice Ninja on my new web hosting server. It is telling me that it is still installed on my previous web server, even though it has been uninstalled totally and is no longer connected to my domain.
When trying to install using Softaculous, it shoots back this error:
An installation already exists at https://billing.xxxxxxx.ca as per our records. To re-install the application please uninstall the existing installation!
I did uninstall everything but still getting this bounceback.
Any ideas on how I can fix this issue would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
That seems somewhat like a softaculous problem and not InvoiceNinja. Are you saying that you had previously installed it on provider X and now you’re using provider Z and getting the problem? Or you had been using server location 1 and now you’re using server location 9 with the same provider?
However, I’m not particularly familiar with that platform.
It could also be a caching issue. Have you cleared your browser cache to remove the old cookies? What about your DNS settings, have you changed those?
I’m mostly guessing here, but those could be some possible causes.
