Remote connection to Invoice Ninja

I have a self-hosted instance of Invoice Ninja V5.7.55 installed on an Ubuntu desktop box ver. 22.04.3, which I can access with the app that is installed on the same box.

I am looking to connect to the above installation locally and remotely from another PC or Android Tablet. Is there any guidance for this?

I think my question here is – what should be done on the above installation to accept remote connections?

Being new to this system, I’d be grateful for any advice on this.

Hi,

Typically the app would be installed on a server to be accessible from multiple devices.

@david may have some suggestions for this configuration.

Aah. I used instructions in this video to install:

Install InvoiceNinja - Invoice and Payment Manager - On Linux - YouTube

I thought this was making it behave like a server.
