Recurring Invoices not sending?

Just noticed that I had a batch of invoices setup and active on recurring that were supposed to go out on May 14th and never did. Had been working fine previously, as one had been previously sent on 5/1. What can I look for as an issue and what changed?

Thank you.

Hi,

Were the invoices generate and not sent or not generated at all?

I suggest checking what the next send date for the invoice is.

Thanks for the response. There were no invoices generated at all. The next send date still indicates May 14th, 2025. Screenshot is below. (Side question - should autobill be enabled? If so, somehow they all changed to Off…)

Since you’re on the hosted platform I suggest sending an email to [email protected] to ask.

Auto-bill only needs to be enabled it you want the invoice nilled when they’re sent.

Thank you, I have also sent them a message. Hopefully they respond quickly.

I believe I see your email in the inbox, it looks like we’re waiting on a response from you. Maybe the email is in your spam folder?

I responded yesterday evening:

Thanks, I don’t believe we received this email

I just resent as well. Please let me know any steps necessary. Thank you.

This issue now seems to be resolved. All the queued recurring invoices did send last night once things were re-enabled. Thank you.

Awesome, glad to hear it!

Good morning,

It seems there is a bug in an actual version, on my site it’s a self hosted environment. Test mails are running fine. But no new invoices and also previously generated (now resent) emails arent working. (Over more than one company).

I already reset the configuration.

Question in this case is; which is now the proper configuration place:

Backend email or .env file?

And furthermore the bug, when I want to test an email setup in the android app I have to put in every time the user and password of the SMTP server, because it’s taking the ***** of the in app shown fields as user and password not the predefined (and working) settings.

Thanks for support

Chris

The bug in the Android app will be corrected in the next release. It only affects the ‘send test email’ feature.
