Can I somehow add a Total (Vat excluded) in the Quote and Invoice. This is how the Quote and invoice should look like in Europe, where all the calculations and values are clearly visible. It’s also hard to apply the discount when you only see Balance Due with tax already included.
Total: 1000 €
Discount on Items: (when you implement item discounts)
Discount on Total: 100 € (10%)
Subtotal: 900 €
Tax 22%: 198 €
Tax 9,5% : 0€ (hidden when 0) Balance Due: 1098 €
I guess it depends on the country laws. It could be shown or make an option in settings IMHO. If there are 10 Tax rates, I guess you will not be showing 9 rates with zero?
Item discounts would be very nice too. Total discount does not always apply when you have products and work items in the same invoice. For some items you can offer more discount than on other. I would actually say it’s a basic feature.
I know there’s a awkward workaround with the negative taxes, but that’s not really a good solution, as those needs to be pre-configured and it’s not listed as Discount in the quote or the invoice.
