I had Paypal Express active in our payment methods and also received payments.
Now I wanted to activate Paypal because of the extended options. I have entered the API data.
How can I now test whether everything is working?

Do you mean PayPal REST or something else?
If you archive/delete the old gateway and add a new one that should be all that’s needed.
