Payment Methods in Client Portal, View in <Gateway>, not available for some clients

Hi -
The Payment Methods in the Client Portal and View in from the Clients section, is not available for some clients. (Gateway is both Stripe and Paypal for us)

For a few clients its working and working well. For several clients the options aren’t available. If there is a simple setting per client I cannot find it.


Maybe you have min/max limits configured on Settings > Online Payments?

I do have min max limits, but at least some invoices are within those limits.

PayPal Express $100.00 - $1,000.00 $0.30 + 2.9%

Stripe: Credit Card — $35.00 - $5,000.00
Bank Transfer — $0.00 - $5,000.00
Apple Pay — $0.00 - $1,000.00

Maybe try clearing the limits to see if it helps?

That looks like it worked! With at least one client. I’ll check on the rest later - is this a known issue or a feature that is somewhat problematic?

This isn’t a known issue, I suggest adding back the limits and rechecking you were testing correctly.
