Newbie question: What is the meaning of "Task Rate" in the Settings ?

I’m new and I’m customizing the settings and there is a field to fulfill that is named “Task Rate” (Set the default rate for invoiced tasks.) and I’m not sure about the meaning and what to enter in this field ?

Maybe it’s because English is not my first language, does it refer to my hourly rate which is $75/hour ???

Correct, the value will be the default rate when invoicing a task.
