New desktop/mobile app for Invoice Ninja

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to share the beta of our rebuilt Invoice Ninja desktop and mobile app.

Demo: Invoice Ninja

Here are some of the improvements over the previous app:

  • Works offline: edit without a connection; changes sync automatically when you’re back online
  • Faster on large accounts: loads lists page-by-page instead of pulling everything at once
  • Encrypted local data: your data is stored encrypted on device
  • Conflict-safe sync: handles edits, deletions, and validation errors without losing data
  • Web app parity: supports all features of the React web app

Desktop

Mobile

It’s still early, but we think this is a great new foundation to build on. We’d love your feedback, please open an issue for any changes you’d like to see:

Cheers

I don’t see tasks in the demo. Are they turned off in a config?

When you have a chance can you please check again?

Modules can be disabled on Settings > Account Management, the demo data is reset every hour so it should fix itself with time.

Looks good. Thanks for the quick turnaround, and all your hard work on the product.

I am on mobile right now and noticed that I could not add per time slot descriptions / notes

You can enable “Show task item description” on Settings > Task Settings to support this.

Will you update the TestFlight Apps ? I would like to test my local installation and I think you fixed to local IP URL thing.

Sure, we can deploy new releases today.

Wait, we’re about to have three apps? I’m already at a loss about which one to use for what. Some features, settings, and tax settings are exclusive to the 2nd app.

The new app is designed to have complete feature parity with the React app, we plan to deprecate the old desktop/mobile apps once the new app is stable.
