Need Help with Auto-Reminder for Unpaid Invoices

I’m trying to set up auto-reminders for unpaid invoices in Invoice Ninja.

Can anyone guide me on how to enable this feature?

It appears that you need to update your permissions as well. Your .env file needs to be writable by your www-data user.

how i do that for the permissions and where can i find the instructions?

That partially depends on how you installed InvoiceNinja.

@hillel Are Docker permissions any different than the other install methods? The user doesn’t have write permissions to the .env file despite running permissions changes.

I don’t believe .env permissions matter if you’re using Docker.

We’ve hidden this error in the Flutter app, it should also be hidden in the React app.

You will find it under Settings > Payment Settings. Also under Settings > Workflow Settings. I do not use recurring invoices, but that may also need to be set. There is also Setting > E-invoice; however, that is not a feature that I use. So that may take a little experimentation on your part. I would recommend doing a few test emails to make sure it is working how you want.
