MUST we Update to Version 5?

Is the update MANDATORY if you use only the desktop version, signing-in via Firefox or Chrome**?**
Like many other small (1 person) businesses, I have been using Invoice Ninja for several years, but this is the first time I have received an email saying to update. Scared to death I will lose years of data and records.
Apologies if this is a repeat of others’ questions.


We’ll soon be sunsetting the hosted version of v5. You can use the migration to bring over your data and settings from v4.

My version is v5.7.54-M123. But I type correct password Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software | Loom
