Missing Defaults under Company Details?

YES - the fields I expect are also missing in these two demos.

Describe the bug (might not be a bug!?)

I’m new to IN, so this might be by design, but not according to the User Guide…

Under:

Settings > Company Details > Defaults

I only see:

  • Terms
  • Footer

According to the current Invoice Ninja User Guide, this section should include:

  • Invoice Payment Terms

    • Default due-in-days for new invoices.

  • Quote Valid Until

    • How long, in days, new quotes remain valid.

  • Terms and Footers

    • Default terms and footer text for invoices and quotes.

The guide describes these as company-wide defaults that automatically populate
new invoices and quotes.

However, in my installation, Invoice Payment Terms and Quote Valid Until are
completely missing from this section.

Is this a bug in v5.13.37, or have these settings been moved elsewhere and the
documentation has not yet been updated?

I believe those settings were moved to the payment settings section.

Thank you so much. I see they are there, yes.
I was a bit confused at the behavior because when creating invoices the Due Date field is blank, but after the invoice is sent it is then calculated based on the Due Date days entered in Payment Settings, and filled in. It’s a little different than my old invoicing software, but now I understand. Not a bug but by design.
