I’m using Cpanel environment and performed the installation via softaculous to install v5.1.61. then I performed in the v 4.5.38 the migration steps. I come at the screen Migration has started. We’ll update you with status, on your company e-mail. but nothing is being migrated as far as I see. I don’t have any Laravel-error.log

In folder of v5 I get

So I can login into my v5 but don’t see any data even when Force Migration has been selected.

and when going to https://facturatie.servitweb.be/public I get 404 Not Found so only Invoice Ninja works.

what more can I verify or do in order to migrate with data from v4 to v5

@servitweb I’ve just done a migration and I found that the migrated companies came in as separate from the v5 initial install company (which then had no data) even when names were the same. I found if I used the top right menu I could pick the migrated company (as it had a the right company icon) and I had to activated it. having checked all the data was there I found I could go back to initial company, delete it (which logged me out) and then I logged in again with and all was fine. I’ve had 3 goes at this migration process as I’m having issues with getting e-mail set up and because I’m a fiddler I’ve broken my install by deleting the wrong thing in the backend DB tables. So I can say for certain that the above worked for me as I’ve done it x3 without fault.

Thx. Indeed changing selected company worked. I also sow the url changed from public/login /public/index.php#/ to Now just have to get the Cron tasks work again

I found softaculous defaulted to putting in cron once a day ! I changed it back to every minute in the cpanel cron interface, but it looks like the shared hosting admins have ranked it back to every 15 minutes to protect server load - though I’ve not had any message or request from them.
