Merging 2 separate installs

Hi
I have 2 self hosted v4.5.29 and would like to merge them. is this possible with export / import function?
I know i can export as JSON but how would i merge the DB?

If not what would be the best option to get all the data across?

You may be able to transfer the data by exporting/importing as CSV
