Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a project we’ve been working on called MakerLoft. It’s an AI app builder designed for those who want the speed of AI generation without being trapped in a “walled garden” or proprietary hosting.

Instead of hosting your app on our infrastructure, MakerLoft acts as an orchestration layer. It writes the code directly to your GitHub repository and launches it on your own DigitalOcean account.

A few core features:

  • True Ownership: You keep the code, the repository, and the server from day one.
  • Self-Healing: If a build fails or an app crashes, the AI detects the error, determines the cause, and ships a fix automatically.
  • Clean Stack: It uses a standard stack of Laravel 13 and MySQL, so the code is easy to read, fork, or extend.
  • BYO AI: You bring your own API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini and pay wholesale rates.
