Language selector not switching anymore

Description of issue

I do switch language from French to English for translation purposes.
Recently, I observed that switching languages in settings won’t work.
If I select English, the dropdown displays english, but UI is still in french.
Same issue observed in React UI and Flutter app.

Thanks for any cue on how to resolve this issue

There are two language settings: one for the company on Settings > Localization and another for the individual user on Settings > User Details.
