iOS App stuck on splash logo

Hi all. I’m having a problem today where the iOS app just gets stuck on this screen on launch:

If I delete and re-install I get the “Passwords” prompt:

Choosing the password from the list and tapping “Done”, I get an email letting me know there was a new login, so the UI is there, I just can’t see it.

I can login from the website no problem. I’ll mention it just in case it matters: I had changed the theme to Dark on the iPhone, and also set the fingerprint lock.

Running version 5.0.105 on an iPhone SE 2 iOS 16.1.1.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

I hate to reply to my own post, but turning the phone off and on seems to have fixed it. I had already tried force closing the app, and that hadn’t helped.

I’ll leave this up in case it helps somebody else.

I can tell you what worked for me, what i did was this stucked iPhone on the Lock Screen and unresponsive, here are one steps you can try to fix it:-
1. Force Restart:-
This is often the first troubleshooting step for various iPhone issues. The method varies depending on your iPhone model:

  • iPhone 8 and later:- Press the Volume Up button quickly, then the Volume Down button quickly. Finally, press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo reappears.

  • iPhone 7/7 Plus:- Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for about 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • iPhone 6S and older:- Press and hold the Power button and the Home button simultaneously for about 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
