Are “invoice types” supported?

Use case:
New Invoice> Type dropdown > Select one of my types IE: Fees, Rent, Utilities, Parts, etc etc.

The part I’m interested out of a “type” option would be to have it automatically append a letter to the invoice ID. IE: U1001, F9002, etc.

There is a feature called Invoice Groups that was implemented into a similar open source invoicing product that did the trick.

Is there a feature similar to this without having to manually type in the ID field?

Sorry, it isn’t supported.

You could add a custom field to track the ‘Type’ but you’d need to manually update the invoice number.
