After further investigations I have found that the desktop version in safari appears to what is causing the problem. Unable to add or edit stripe gateway, initial invoices not sending. I tried again using google chrome and all appears ok. The mobile app also appears to be OK now also.

In my case Safari seems to be the problem. I am a Mac user as are many others I suppose.

I had the same thing on mine after migrating from v4. v4 had payments set up for a long time so I just assumed it would copy over. Luckily I caught it before a client tried paying. Had to go click the toggle switch in payment settings to turn it on.
