Hi everyone,

We’ve rebuilt the Invoice Ninja WordPress plugin from the ground up, and the first 2.0 pre-release is ready for testing.

What it does

  • Sell your Invoice Ninja products on your WordPress site with blocks for a product grid, product pages, a cart and checkout. Prices and stock come from Invoice Ninja, every order becomes an invoice, and customers pay on Invoice Ninja’s payment page with the gateway you already use.
  • Guest checkout with a 6-digit email code: no account needed.
  • Customer account page on your site with invoices, quotes, payments, credits and subscriptions, plus Pay and PDF links.
  • Quote request form: each request becomes a draft quote in Invoice Ninja.
  • Subscriptions: pricing tables and subscribe buttons for recurring billing, with hooks for hosting or membership sites.
  • WooCommerce invoicing: keep WooCommerce as your store and let Invoice Ninja handle the invoices, payments and refunds.
  • Built to be reliable: no duplicate invoices, and orders placed while Invoice Ninja is unreachable are saved and sent when it’s back.

You’ll need WordPress 6.7+, PHP 8.1+ and Invoice Ninja 5.13.25+. Hosted Invoice Ninja needs a Pro or Enterprise plan; self-hosted works on any plan.

This is an alpha, so please use a test or staging site rather than your live shop. If you’re on 1.x, your shop keeps working as before after the update, and you can switch to the new blocks when you’re ready.
