Invoice Ninja and Brevo

I have invoice Ninja 5.10 on self hosted platform. I signed up at Brevo for email sending. I selected Brevo on Invoice Ninja email settings and added my Brevo Secret. On Brevo I verified my domain with the needed DNS records.

When I email the client invoice from Invoice Ninja I get no errors but the email is not delivered. Am I missing something.

Also, were emails working in the past?

It were on SMTP but now it just shows an error Something Went Wrong that is why I tried Brevo as a workaround. No errors in logs

If you see “something went wrong” there will be details in either the web server error logs or in storage/logs. Without the error details we aren’t able to help.

The error was when the email settings were on SMTP, after I changed it to Brevo and applied the secret key I have no issues but the emails aren’t send.

Updated the php file. When trying to send emails it says Email Queued, but no email received. When trying smtp the following error: The “” scheme is not supported; supported schemes for mailer “smtp” are: “smtp”, “smtps”.

After the changes with email settings on Brevo no emails were delivered. Emails just go to a que and thats it. My version were installed via Softaculous and they don’t have the latest version yet. Updating via the app results in error Something Went Wrong. How can I manually update the software on self hosted?

You can copy over the latest tar file to update manually.

Once uploaded what are the exact instructions I can give my ISP to do the update as I don’t have access to certains functions as it is a shared hostinf server.

None, logs are empty.

Just to be sure. Must I download all 3 files and upload to the server as I just downloaded the zip file and uploaded those files

You need to copy over the tar file

I copied the tar file over after restoring the previous files. I assume I need to run this URL.com - MediaOptions

You may need to run it, it depends on the server

I uploaded the .tar file and extracted it on the server afterwards I could see that the app version showed 5.11.0

Emails are working now but 2 issues remain.

1 - When I log into the software on a browser an message shows on top: Something went wrong, please contact us at [email protected]. This is the only time the error shows.

2- The systems shows an update is available for 5.11.3 but when I click on that I still get the original error something went wrong.
