Invoice appears with "Net" as well as "Total."

When I select tax for an invoice, this is correctly calculated within the “total” shown on the invoice. However, the invoice also has a line at the top labelled “Net,” which calculates and shows the sub-total minus the tax.

Is there a way to remove “Net” from displaying on the invoice?

You will have to change the invoice design. Go to Settings → Invoice Design → Total Fields (on the far right) and remove Net Subtotal.
