Hi,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! If you could please check storage/logs for details about the 500 error I can try to help.

Note: we’d appreciate it if you could please mind your language. I’m happy to help but won’t tolerate abusive language.

@soizburg Wow… If you need to type so abrasively like this and are apparently having such a hard time, perhaps you’re not proficient enough in the technical skills required for effectively self-hosting open-source software applications. This is wildly unprofessional on a forum for free software.

Additionally, the $40 you spent is purely for white-labeling your InvoiceNinja instance to remove their branding, that’s it. It’s not meant to allot you technical support. Thousands of people have successfully applied the white-label license without any disrespectful forum posts, so your issue is likely related to your hosting environment.

If I recall correctly, IN would need to resolve a few domains in order to validate its license, at least I had to give my container access to a few egress destinations DNS + HTTPS wise (see below)

However, as noted by others, if you’re going the self hosting route (which I’ll always take), you’d also need to manage self-chilling aspects as in many years of experience with humans, shouting and yelling doesn’t get you any further if not backwards.

These are the domains according to my setup (haven’t took any notes, sorry)

*.invoicing.co
*.invoiceninja.com

I also made sure my Docker host can reach these two IPs:

lic.invoiceninja.com (104.21.4.178)
invoicing.co (104.26.11.115)

Have fun and if it still doesn’t work, try to yell a bit at your computer to see if that helps =]

Cheers!

I have no idea why people feel the need to rant about something like this right away. The software is designed to be intuitive, and if you’re as fluent in English as you claim to be here, it should actually be a breeze to tell the difference between “paid software” and “white label.” If you had thoroughly tested the online demo beforehand instead of installing it yourself right away, you would have noticed that right away.

Behave appropriately, and you’ll get support.

p.s. auch in der deutschen Version ist alles genau beschrieben und hättest du normal gefragt, wäre auch sicher jemand hier, der dir bei dem Problem geholfen hätte.

Cheers
