How to disable payment confirmations

I would like to disable payment confirmations but can’t figure out where to do that. Is that a global setting or per client or per recurring invoice?

You can search the settings for “payment email” to see the location.

another quick follow-up question, is there a setting for disabling payment confirmation mails to myself? I . I am a freelancer so I am the only person in my company, so I don’t need a confirmation mail to myself when I have marked an invoice as paid.

I believe you can disable the “Payment Success” notification on Settings > User Details > Notifications.
