Hello,
Is there a guide/tutorial how to install a different language (Greek) ?
Thank you
If you translate the app on Transifex we’ll add the language.
https://www.transifex.com/invoice-ninja/invoice-ninja/
To add it yourself you’d want to copy the resources/lang/en folder and translate the files. Then add a record to the languages table and clear the cache by adding ?clear_cache=true to the end of the URL.
I am already contributing to transifex.
If we finish this, you will integrate it into the official languages ?
Absolutely, thanks for your help!!
The translation in Greek is ready.
Please integrate it to the next release.
Amazing, thanks for your help!
We’ll include the language with the v3.0 release at the end of the month.
So, do i have a few more days to check on the strings that were already translated when i started translating a few days ago ?
Sure, you’ve got a few weeks.
Note: over time as we add feature we’re also adding new strings to Transifex.
I replaced the texts.php file with the Greek translated file and i relaced the english version in “resources/lang/en”.
When i tried to repload the login page (after cleaning cache) i got the message
Whoops, looks like something went wrong.
Any assumptions what might went wrong ???
There may be more details in storage/logs/laravel-error.log
The error is:
[2017-01-08 22:52:30] production.ERROR: exception ‘Symfony\Component\Debug\Exception\FatalErrorException’ with message ‘syntax error, unexpected ‘s’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘)’’ in /home/public_html/ninja/resources/lang/en/texts.php:272 Stack trace: #0 {main} [] []
Can you check line 272 in the texts.php file.
It looks like a syntax error, maybe there’s a single quote without a backslash.
It worked.
Thank you.
I already corrected it on transifex as well.
Great to hear, thanks!
