Description:
Currently, Invoice Ninja does not support the ability to create partial invoices that are automatically referenced in a final invoice with a full tax breakdown. This feature is particularly important in Austria, where it is legally required that all prior partial invoices be listed in the final invoice, including the VAT amounts already paid.
Proposed Functionality:
• Enable users to create partial invoices for phased payments.
• Provide an option to automatically link these partial invoices to a final invoice.
• The final invoice should:
• List all previous partial invoices, including invoice numbers, amounts, and tax details.
• Deduct previously invoiced amounts from the total amount due.
• Clearly display the remaining balance with the applicable taxes.
• Ensure the final invoice follows Austrian legal requirements by including:
• A summary of all VAT (USt) amounts already paid in the partial invoices.
• The remaining VAT amount due on the final invoice.
