So, looking at the example, what fields can be mapped to what field names?
Do you have the line item details in the CSV file?
I only have the line item details in the one I am importing.
From the screenshot above you wouldn’t need to map the total field as it will be calculated.
The app has a paid field but not a balance due option. I suggest creating a new column in the spreadsheet which has the total minus the balance due to calculate the paid amount.
Ok, according to my screenshot , which cell mapping names should I map mine to match your terminology?
Mine Invoice Ninja
Subtotal Map to ? Not sure about mapping here
Balance Due Map to ? Balance - Invoice (I am assuming)
Tax Map to ? Tax Rate 1 or Tax Name 1?
The subtotal would be the unit cost
The balance due would need to change to the paid amount
The tax would need to be split into name and rate columns
@david can you please confirm?
I think it would be best if the app supported just importing the tax name (in which case the rate is matched to existing rates in the company) or importing a name and rate.
