You can use the client report to export data to CSV.
In the future we plan to also support exporting in the settings.
I am able to export a list of my customers and their information in the report section.
Is there a way to only export active clients? Not achived ones. So I could use this list to update our mailing list once in a while?

Which app are you using?
In the desktop app you can add the ‘Record State’ column to the client report and filter it to active records.
