Error 422 when adding new client

Describe the bug

Adding a new client and when I hit save, I get this message:
“422: Unprocessable Content • The given data was invalid.
• You’ve hit the 5 client limit on Free accounts. Congrats on your success!”

Tried 5 times and keep getting the same error. I have only one company and 25 clients. My account says I get 52/5.

Are you using the hosted or selfhosted app? The post is tagged as selfhosted but I’d only expect that error on the hosted platform.

If you’re on the hosted platform you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to create more than 5 clients.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m not sure what the difference is. I’ve been using Invoice Ninja for about 6 years and have always had more than 5 clients. I think I upgraded when I added credit card payment to my client portal but can’t seem to find record of that. Maybe my membership didn’t get autopaid or credit card needs to be renewed or something. How would I look into that, is there somewhere I can access payment history or what would it be listed as on my credit card statement as?

So for clarification, I need to upgrade to the pro plan now to add any more clients? This must be something new since I have always had 20 to 25 clients. And only one busness.
