Edit or delete text from Client Statement footer

Hi,

Currently running v5.8.20-C153 on Debian 11.

Is there a way to edit the footer in Client Statements? I’ve got some text showing that appeared when we were 1st trying to set up invoice footers. I’ve tried removing all the Company Default Footers but the text being displayed is not in any setting I can find.

What, if anything, might blow up if I export, manually edit the json file, purge the company and then reimport the edited json file?

Kind regards

Nigel.

Hi,

I wasn’t aware that is was possible to add a footer to the statement.

Not sure that’s a great idea but if you decide to try it I suggest testing with a blank new company rather than purging your existing company.

Hi

I saw the new statement options and have been playing, but I’m still getting a very old footer that was supposed to be for invoices only and was removed long ago.

I’ve gone through every client and manually applied template settings to them all with no visible effect (in the statement footer). I’d try a complete reinstall, but the error is in the database records themselves. I made a half-hearted attempt to migrate my data to a new server, with a manual edit in between to remove the offending text, to no apparent effect.

Is it possible to create an update option similar to what’s available when changing Invoice template settings?

Kind regards

Nigel
