Distinguish between USD, CAD, AUD, and CLP

Hello,

We are introducing prices in several currencies, and we noticed USD, CAD, AUD, and CLP use the same $ sign in invoice ninja. Would it be possible to distinguish them as follows?

USD - $ (or US$ to be consistent)
CAD - CA$
AUD - A$
CLP - CLP$

From what we could find on wikipedia, the aforementioned are the most commons ways of distinguishing between these.

Thanks!

Hi,

The app supports selecting between symbol and code on Settings > Localization but the specific symbol used can’t be changed.

If you think the symbol is incorrect please send an email to [email protected].

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I will send an email to ask whether it would be a possibility or not. But we might indeed be better off using the localization option you suggested. But would that change the accounting reports in any way?

At the moment, with the symbol, we download it like this (notice the symbol in the amount column, for instance). Where would the currency code go to if we do the change?

Sorry, I’m not sure if the setting affects the reports.

From what I could see the report works fine as well. The symbols/signs are replaced with the currency code.

On the email, they replied they wouldn’t make the change, and advised to use the localisation option, which we will now. Thanks!
