Displaying User Name in Email Templates

Dear Invoice Ninja Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using Invoice Ninja version 4.5 and I have been exploring the customization options for email templates. However, I’m having difficulty finding the variable that allows me to display the name of the user who is sending the email.

I have tried using something like $userName or $user or even $user.name in the email template, but it doesn’t seem to work as expected. Could you please provide guidance on the correct variable to use for including the user’s name in the email templates or in $emailSignature ?

Any assistance you can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Hi,

I’m not sure if it’s supported in v4, it should work in v5.

Thank you for your suggestion, but due to internal organizational reasons, I cannot use version 5.

I wonder if, potentially, I could modify the $variables array by adding a new key that calls the method retrieving information about the logged-in user? What do you think?
