Different email template message per (recurring) invoice?

If I have a Pay Now button in the general invoice email template and a client is subscribed already via an external payment processor like Direct Debit, then they may end up paying twice or at least get confused by the Pay Now button.

So would it be possible to implement a custom email message per-recurring invoice or even per-invoice (recurring or otherwise) please?

You may want to add a message to the standard email template.

Is this still not supported? My customers on auto-bill need to get some different branding in the email content depending on what they’ve subscribed to. Not being able to select the email template to use for recurring invoices means I probably can’t use this feature. :frowning:
