Custom Template Preview Suddenly Stopped Working (Blank Preview)

Describe the bug

Suddenly, when Trying to create a customer, I can no longer see a preview. This happens even with the base templates. It only happens when in the template customization screen. when in the complete selection screen (where you assign specific designs for each type of document) The preview works fine. Once again to clarify, it is only when trying to edit the custom template that the preview will not work.

There are no errors, The preview is just blank.

Steps To Reproduce

I have no idea what caused this. I was working on the code for a new template design when suddenly the preview stopped working. I thought this was due to something in my code, but I quickly found out that none of my other designs - nor the default designs - Had a working preview anymore.

Expected Behavior

Additional context

No errors in the health check whatsoever. I tried clicking, clear cash, but it made no difference. I’ve also tried rebooting the machine. I’ve also tried testing on different browsers and different machines.

I’ve tried it on mac, windows and iPad using browsers.

I tried on the iPad just now (which I had never used) and when I clicked to create a new template, immediately the following error message popped up:

500: Internal Server Error • DOMDocumentFragment::appendXML(): Entity: line 18: parser error : Unescaped ‘<’ not allowed in attributes values
