Hi, I’m in the process of setting up InvoiceNinja to replace a current system and I wasn’t able to find anything about this so apologies if this has already been answered, but I was wondering if I’m able to set up a custom date for the auto-billing? The gateway we use is GoCardless if this has any bearing, all our invoices are set to be due a month later but we typically take payment automatically on any direct debit customers around a week after the invoice is sent.

Is there any way to do this or some form of workaround I could look into? Thanks in advance.

Welcome!

You can accomplish this by setting the due date on the recurring invoice to ‘Use payment terms’ and then set the invoice payment terms for the client to ‘Net 7’.

Sorry, the invoices aren’t recurring which I assume makes things a bit more awkward?

You could accomplish this with the API or a tool like Zapier or Make.
