Create login for a customer? 🤔

Pretty much as they title says… How do you do it?

Also is there any reason for doing it; I mean when you generate an invoice the customers receives an email with a link that takes him to the client portal where he can view/download the invoice without login information. So pros/cons of creating a login too please?

You could edit the client and manually set the password.

What is the point/advantage of doing it?

is it just for additional protection so you cannot view the invoices (when you have the link), unless you login?

When I look at the client data and try to edit that record I cannot see any field for portal user/password. (Hence my initial question).

Correct, the password feature provides additional security.

Is the password feature enabled on Settings > Client Portal > Authorization?
